What shall students wear?

Within the initial weeks of joining FHDA students are to come in movement appropriate clothing, Leggings and T-shirt.

When joining, Children are required to wear regulation uniform in class which can be purchased through our uniform shop (https://flo.mydancestore.co.uk/)

For adult classes there is no strict dress code. Please ensure appropriate clothing to move in and appropriate footwear for the style. E.g. Bare foot for contemporary, Ballet shoes for Ballet, Tap shoes for Tap.

What time shall I arrive to class?

Please arrive on time to class or 5 minutes before. Students are to be dressed and prepared. The door will remain locked during class due to safety reasons.

Can parents and grandparents watch class?

The responsible adult is allowed to watch for the first couple of classes to ease the child in. After this, parents are encouraged to use the waiting room. There will be opportunities to watch the students at Miss Florrie’s discretion.

Do parents/guardians need to stay at the hall during class?

Guardians are welcome to wait in the waiting area outside the main hall. Parents are permitted to leave the premises and arrive promptly at the end of the students class.

If your child is 3 Years old or younger, a responsible adult is required to stay on the premises, for insurance purposes.
