Miss Florrie (Principal)

Miss Florrie has been dancing since age 7 at her local dance school. She started with NATD Ballet, Tap and Modern Stage completing her graded work. She went onto achieve a first class BA Hons in Choreography and Dance from the University of Winchester. During her time there she was lucky enough to become rehearsal director of pre-professional dance company D@win Dance Company, working with professional dance artists in the south. Miss Florrie moved back to the East Midlands and completed her associate teaching qualification with the NATD (A.N.A.T.D). She loves to teach all ages an abilites. She also teaches contemporary dance at Welland School of dancing, Stamford to students age 8 to adult.

Miss Ava (Teaching assistant)

Miss Ava joined Florrie Harris Dance Academy in 2024 to help with our first dance school ‘When you wish upon a dream’. Miss Ava joined as a volunteer teaching assistant. She does a wonderful job looking after the students every saturday. Miss Ava’s is learning Contemporary dance at FHDA.
